UPCOMING EVENTS @ MHS

Final exams for all other students will be taking place on Tuesday, June 10th to Thursday, June 12th. Students will follow the same half day schedule as Semester 1 finals and will be dismissed by 12:30 PM on these days. Final exams are required for all classes, and missing tests will result in failing grades and required summer school to recover credits and promote to the next grade. There will be no final exam makeup opportunities, and students will not be allowed to take exams individually before these dates. Any emergency absences must be communicated to the Main Office and approved by Mrs. Lawrence or Mr. Hyatt.

As we approach the end of the school year, we wanted to get the date for our final family conferences on the calendar! Family conferences and Report Card Pick Up will take place for 9th - 11th grade families on Tuesday, June 17th from 1:30PM - 6:30PM. Please mark this date now to ensure that you attend. This is the last day of work for the year for advisors and they want to make sure to meet with you before heading into the summer. Summer School registration will also take place at this time.

Nora Lawrence - Principal of Mansueto High School
Welcome Mansueto Leopards!
It is a great privilege to be your principal, and I look forward to working with each of you and your families this year. I am an Illinois native, a wife, a mom of two girls and a dog, and a passionate educator who believes that an exceptional education is a human right.
I am heading into my 11th year at Noble and my 13th year in education. I began my teaching career in Kansas City, MO through Teach for America teaching Spanish and then moved back home to Chicago to join Noble. After serving for nine years at Gary Comer College Prep as a teacher, college counselor and eventual Assistant Principal, I moved to Mansueto High School!
I love the Noble and Mansueto community. Together we work to realize our goal of equipping students to complete college and to achieve choice filled lives. It is my great hope that all of our students and families feel valued, successful and happy at MHS, and I look forward to doing the hard work to make this a reality.

Es un gran privilegio ser su directora y espero trabajar con cada uno de ustedes y sus familias este año. Soy una nativa de Illinois, una esposa, una madre de dos niñas y un perro, y una educadora apasionada que cree que una educación excepcional es un derecho humano.
Me dirijo a mi 11.° año en Noble y mi 13.° año en educación. Comencé mi carrera en educación en Kansas City, MO a través de Teach for America enseñando español y luego me mudé a Chicago para unirse a Noble. Después de servir durante nueve años en Gary Comer College Prep como maestra, consejera universitaria y eventual subdirectora, ¡me mudé a Mansueto High School!
